![]() It seems to be doing something, as far as one can tell from the HDD activity, but it seems to be stuck in:Ĭ:\Program Files\SqueezeCenter\server>squeezecenter.exe So I killed the processes SqueezeTray.exe and SQUEEZ~1.EXE, then launched a command shell and started squeezcenter.exe. When I then tried to enter in my web browser (Mozilla FireFox), however, I only got: "Unable to connect Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost:9000." An icon in the tray was installed and it said "Starting SqueezCenter." I sucessfully downloaded and installed SqueezeCenter 7.x, following all instructions. Before buying a squeezebox, I thought it might be worthwhile to try the technology by installing both the SqueezeCenter server and Softsqueeze client on WindowsXP.
